I’m Philip Lorish, and I’m the proprietor of Commerce Street Books.  Aside from a brief stint across the pond, I’ve called Charlottesville home for the past 20 years, which should, I think, grant me local status.  If I’m not reading chances are I’m either walking the dog around Fifeville, hollerin at one of my three children at some sports event, or running these streets with friends.  I’m excited to bring the bookstore I think Charlottesville deserves to West Main Street, and can’t wait to put good books in your hands.  Oh, and my Bodo’s order is a classic: Egg and Cheddar on Everything.
